Roses will have hydrating sachets attached to maintain freshness, these should be removed when unwrapped or as soon as convenient and all stems re-cut before placing in fresh water. To extend the life of your flowers keep them in a cool spot, away from direct sun/draughts and re-cut stems and replace water every 2-3 days.
